WELCOME TO OUR JOURNAL
This space is where we share the stories that have stayed with us. It’s a place to celebrate the couples we’ve connected with on a deeper level and the incredible creatives behind each wedding.
But more than that, it’s here to help you. If you’re planning your own celebration and looking for inspiration, ideas, or the right team to bring it all together, this is for you. Every entry includes insight into the day and links to the talented people who made it happen. If something here feels like your vibe, you’ll find everything you need to explore it further.

Beauty in Stillness: A Thoughtful, Intimate Wedding at Ballintaggart Farm
Some weddings unfold like a deep breath—slow, intentional, and full of presence. Mitch and Ilona’s day at Ballintaggart Farm in Perthshire was exactly that. With just 27 guests, handwritten letters, and the softest sunset we’ve seen in a long time, this wedding gave space to feel. Their film, Beauty in Stillness—a phrase from Ilona’s vows—sums it all up perfectly.
Slow Mornings and Quiet Chaos
The day started early, and in the best possible way. Mitch cooked breakfast for everyone staying on site—something small, simple, but full of meaning. That one gesture really set the tone: calm, thoughtful, and completely in tune with who they are. We arrived early to capture it all, which also led to one of those brilliant wedding day moments: Simon accidentally walked in on a sleeping guest. No drama, just one of those things that reminds you weddings are beautifully human.
The prep felt warm and grounded, even with a few nerves kicking in. Mitch had a moment where it all started to feel a bit overwhelming. Bernadeta Kupiec, their photographer, stepped in with some calming techniques, and the whole energy shifted. It’s amazing what the right team can do when they really care.
